London 2 Brighton Challenge 2015 · 23 May 2015 to 24 May 2015 ·

The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Your support can help us to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.

Story

Thanks for visiting.

You may know that I am a casual jogger, but the most I have ever ran before is 42km. This is 2.5x that. The course is 60% off-road and it includes traversing up and over the South Downs which, needless to say, is going to be a challenge when I am already 80km into the run. More information about the challenge can be found here: http://www.london2brightonchallenge.com/participant-area/provisional-route.

I decided to take part in this 100km challenge in order to raise money for the Christie, the largest cancer centre in Europe. It treats 40,000 patients each year and the quality and dedication of the staffs' work is unparalleled. I know this because of the support they gave my grandfather when he suffered from cancer, and I can sincerely say that you will be supporting a great cause through your donation.

Any support would be kindly and warmly received.
